This is made possible by a combination of semi-automatic clamping plate change and the exchange of tools and the NC program. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Spindle heads<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two rows of spindles with alternating main spindles, one above the other, enable tool changes parallel to machining time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Robots<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The pioneering control concept of the AX 400 integrates all robot functions into the machine control system.The machine and robot work completely synchronously. During the machining process, the robot automatically follows the movements of the clamping device in the Y and Z axes. Loading and unloading therefore takes place parallel to machining time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tool magazine<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The tool magazine of the AX 400 consists of a drum magazine with a total of 16 x 4 tool positions.
